Here are some websites and blogs of fellow teachers that I have come across in the last few years. These resources are free, well presented and are applicable to all facets of teaching. The following sites will be sure to answer all your questions and provide you with some great ideas for your students.
**The Go 2 Teacher: Kas Pillay **
Of course we have to mention our very own page! TheGo2Teacher.com is the go-to resource I created to help teachers thrive in the classroom. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, you’ll find tons of practical tips, lesson plans, and classroom management strategies to make teaching easier and more enjoyable. My goal is to support you with real, actionable advice that helps you engage students and build a positive learning environment. I’m here to make your teaching journey smoother and more rewarding!
Check out our article ranging across many facets of teaching and of course contact us for the questions we have not answered! We also have some formalised support in our services page which offers a great range of tools to help you in all aspects of teaching.
Iphys- Ed, Founder: Nathan Horne
A fantastic purpose-built site that is not only aesthetically pleasing but has a ton of fantastic and original resources that are available to download… for free!
Nathan is currently based in British Columbia, Canada where he is a PHE Department Head and a PYP & MYP Physical & Health Education teacher.

I have personally used a lot of the ‘TGFU’ posters and a range of visual displays available on the resource page. Iphsy-ed also has a wide range of fantastic articles that are evidence-based and explain how to implement current HPE approaches in your lessons and planning.
This may be one of the best HPE-specific sites I have encountered.
Australian Government, Australian Sport Commission AIS: Sport Resources
This page is pretty self-explanatory, here you have effortless access to a one-stop shop of resources for every sport you would potentially be teaching in your Primary/ High School. Having all professional sports organisations on one page for you to access, is extremely handy and efficient. The resources are evidence-based and extremely high quality. All are also free.
A great resource to use personally, send to colleagues and incorporate into your year plan maybe even accessing programs or utilising your funding to engage with these providers to run sessions at your sites.
Resources For: Cycling, Equestrian, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Lacrosse, Netball, Orienteering, Paddle, Rugby League, Softball, Snow Sports, Rugby Union, Special Olympics, Australia, Squash, Surfing, Surf Life Saving, Table Tennis, Tennis, Tenpin, Bowling, Touch Football, Triathlon, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Water Polo.
Playing for Life Resources
Fun and active games to develop children’s skills, confidence and lifelong interest in sports. Fun and active games to develop children’s skills, confidence and lifelong interest in sport

This is probably the best free primary resource website I have come across. The most comprehensive covering all year levels, a massive variety of games and activities, and very high-quality resources that can be done in any setting.
What I love the most about this site… is how it is structured similar to the Australian curriculum website. You select your year level and focus area and it narrows your search to relevant age-appropriate games that are mostly all curriculum-aligned.
These activities can also give you ideas and a starting place for you to modify and adapt lessons to better suit the needs of your students.
It also includes instruction videos on how to teach/ play the games!!
Games are separated in year levels and the following categories:
- Physical
- Psychological
- Social
- Cognitive
All activities have a physical literacy emphasis and cover every area you would teach in a P.E. year overview. From Safety and risk activities to Cardiovascular emphasised activities, it has it all….. and I mean all.
Do yourself a favour, check this site out now. Do what I did. Print every activity make a booklet and bind it.
Yep, I have every single activity in a hard copy folder and have used it since my first year in teaching till now. As I have progressed in my career I used it to build other lessons or just to get some ideas but early on it was critical in my success as an early career educator.
My favourite resource without a doubt.
